Who we are
For years the shelves of East Africa were stocked with products designed somewhere else, for someone else. Johana was founded in Kigali to change that — to formulate, manufacture and package personal care right here, for the skin and hair we actually have.

A student, a new mother and a salon owner all deserve the same quality at a price that fits their week. That is what we mean by affordable premium — and it is why we fill nineteen product lines across fifty-one pack sizes rather than three convenient ones.
Everything is blended, filled, labelled and packed in one facility in Kigali. Every batch carries a code and a retention sample, so a jar on a shelf in Kampala can be traced back to the day it was made.
